Questions?
When to go?
The best time to visit Komodo is at the beginning of the dry season (May – June): the landscapes are still green and the weather is pleasant. After summer the hills turn brown; still beautiful, but very different. The upside: there are fewer crowds.
We were there in May: perfect weather and still-green hills, but not for much longer.
Avoid November to February, when the sea is rougher and it’s the rainy season. Some day tours stop running, and in January–February, several dive shops and boats even close. It’s also when cruises take the opportunity to do boat maintenance.
What budget?
The budget in Komodo can vary a lot depending on the type of cruise (standard or luxury), but to give you an idea:
- Round-trip flight from Bali: €100/person
- For a 3-day cruise, expect at least €150/person (shared cabin), or around €80/person for a group day trip (by speedboat)
- €15/night for a guesthouse in Labuan Bajo
- €5 for a meal
What are the refund conditions?
We truly want every traveler to be happy with their guide.
But because this is a PDF file that cannot be “returned” or “deleted” after download, we cannot issue a refund without a valid reason. Unfortunately, we’ve seen too many abuses and we need to protect our work and our content 🙏
This is why refunds are only possible in justified situations, clearly defined below.
1. Refund request period
You can request a refund within 7 days after your purchase.
2. Eligibility conditions
A refund is possible if you explain what is missing or causing issues when planning your trip, so we can improve the guide.
What we require:
- A concrete reason with clear feedback about the specific information you’re missing.
What we do NOT refund:
- Requests based on missing information about a destination or step that was never included on the sales page.
(For example: you expected information about Malapascua in the Philippines even though this step does not appear on the map of the sales page.) - Requests without justification.
- Requests based on simply changing your mind.
- Requests submitted after downloading multiple guides in a row and asking a refund for all of them (clear abuse).
- Purchases made using major promotional discounts (over 40 percent).
What are the payment methods?
You can pay safely by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Google Pay, Apple Pay and iDEAL. All payments are secure and protected
Have you tested the recommended locations?
We only recommend places we REALLY loved (collaboration or not!) and we also also recommend places based on all our research (best locations, value for money, ratings on google/booking) so you really don't have to do anything (well yes, just choose according to your available budget!).
What is the advantage of a guide compared to a blog where I find the information for free?
Personally, I have always had to read dozens of different blogs to organize an entire trip. Most bloggers only trace what they did and you need to do more research for the rest. Our guides are designed to save you this research time, and have everything in one place, from preparing (visa, business to bring, cash, sim card...) to visualizing your complete itinerary.
In addition, if you follow me on Instagram you know that we are always looking for little-known paradisiacal places, to find ourselves alone. And it's these gems that I keep very dear for my guides, I no longer share precise locations publicly! Not to mention the exclusive discounts that I negotiate and that you won't find anywhere else.
How do I get updates?
As soon as a guide is purchased, you get all of its updates for free! They will be sent to you by email to the address provided during your purchase.
💡 tip : Keep this email with the download link carefully so you can access the latest version at any time.
What format will I get after the purchase?
The e-books are interactive pdf files (with clickable links) that you can save and view from your phone. It is a format adapted for long mobile devices that can be scrolled like a site. Please don't print it ♻️
Is the e-book right for me if I don't plan to spend as much time in the country as you do?
Yes, we offer itineraries for all durations, especially for those who only have one or two weeks of vacation.
