Questions?
When to go?
The best time to visit Oman is between October and April. The climate is very arid with very little rain. From May to September, temperatures can get extreme (up to 50°C in Muscat), so it’s really best to avoid this period.
We went in February: it was great, but in the mountains and at night temperatures can drop below 15°C, so don’t forget to pack some warm clothes.
🌹 Our tip: go in March–April, when the roses are harvested in Jabal Al Akhdar. We were gutted to have missed it. You can witness the distillation process to make rose water.
What budget?
The budget for a trip to Oman will mainly depend on your choice of hotels. At the very least, you can find very good hotels for around €40 per night. But many people choose to rent a 4x4 with a rooftop tent to do the road trip in camping mode! A great way to fully experience the adventure while saving money (you can literally camp anywhere in Oman, and it's totally safe). We did a mix of both, and I really recommend you do the same !
Here’s an example budget for 2 people over 14 days:
- 4x4 rental with rooftop tent (12 days): €1766
- Gas: €120
- Groceries: €60
- Hotels (€60/night – 7 nights): €420
- Activities: €316
- Restaurants: €240
- Extras: €150
➡️ Total for 2 people: ~€3,070
So, isn’t it worth spending an extra €25 to save hours of planning and travel with peace of mind 🤓 ?
What are the refund conditions?
We truly want every traveler to be happy with their guide.
But because this is a PDF file that cannot be “returned” or “deleted” after download, we cannot issue a refund without a valid reason. Unfortunately, we’ve seen too many abuses and we need to protect our work and our content 🙏
This is why refunds are only possible in justified situations, clearly defined below.
1. Refund request period
You can request a refund within 7 days after your purchase.
2. Eligibility conditions
A refund is possible if you explain what is missing or causing issues when planning your trip, so we can improve the guide.
What we require:
- A concrete reason with clear feedback about the specific information you’re missing.
What we do NOT refund:
- Requests based on missing information about a destination or step that was never included on the sales page.
(For example: you expected information about Malapascua in the Philippines even though this step does not appear on the map of the sales page.) - Requests without justification.
- Requests based on simply changing your mind.
- Requests submitted after downloading multiple guides in a row and asking a refund for all of them (clear abuse).
- Purchases made using major promotional discounts (over 40 percent).
What are the payment methods?
You can pay safely by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Google Pay, Apple Pay and iDEAL. All payments are secure and protected
Have you tested the recommended locations?
We only recommend places we REALLY loved (collaboration or not!) and we also also recommend places based on all our research (best locations, value for money, ratings on google/booking) so you really don't have to do anything (well yes, just choose according to your available budget!).
What is the advantage of a guide compared to a blog where I find the information for free?
Personally, I have always had to read dozens of different blogs to organize an entire trip. Most bloggers only trace what they did and you need to do more research for the rest. Our guides are designed to save you this research time, and have everything in one place, from preparing (visa, business to bring, cash, sim card...) to visualizing your complete itinerary.
In addition, if you follow me on Instagram you know that we are always looking for little-known paradisiacal places, to find ourselves alone. And it's these gems that I keep very dear for my guides, I no longer share precise locations publicly! Not to mention the exclusive discounts that I negotiate and that you won't find anywhere else.
How do I get updates?
As soon as a guide is purchased, you get all of its updates for free! They will be sent to you by email to the address provided during your purchase.
💡 tip : Keep this email with the download link carefully so you can access the latest version at any time.
What format will I get after the purchase?
The e-books are interactive pdf files (with clickable links) that you can save and view from your phone. It is a format adapted for long mobile devices that can be scrolled like a site. Please don't print it ♻️
Is the e-book right for me if I don't plan to spend as much time in the country as you do?
Yes, we offer itineraries for all durations, especially for those who only have one or two weeks of vacation.
