Plan the perfect trip to Oman, without spending hours on it!
Between planning the itinerary, choosing accommodations, and figuring out which experiences you absolutely can’t miss, organizing a trip to Oman can quickly become overwhelming.
👉 Good news: we did a 3-week road trip across the country to create a super complete travel guide! It works like a ready-to-use travel planner, with everything you need to save precious time:
- Perfect itineraries for 7 days, 2 weeks, and 3 weeks, including must-see spots and hidden gems
- All the practical info (entry requirements, visa, insurance, packing list, dress code, SIM card…)
- 9 detailed stops (see map below), with how to get there and how long to stay
- A full budget breakdown depending on the length of your trip
- Contacts of the amazing local guides we met along the way
- The best activities (sightseeing, wadis, desert, excursions…) for each stop, with prices and our tips
- Our hotel recommendations for every budget (from €40/night to €200 if you want to treat yourself or for a honeymoon)
- The restaurants where we had the most delicious meals
- Mistakes to avoid so you don’t get scammed
🎁 Bonus
With your purchase of this guide, you’ll also get:
- 6 exclusive discounts, including on 4x4 rentals (the biggest expense) and on unique accommodations (not the more expensive such as -10% at Kmkan Cafe in Nizwa, -10% at Misfah Heritage House, a discount on the guided tour at Wadi Tiwi, and more). In short, the guide literally pays for itself 🤝
- Access to all our saved Google Maps points (so you can always see what’s around you: restaurants, beaches, hidden spots, and more).
🤳 All of this comes in a mobile-friendly PDF with clickable links to instantly book your entire trip.
It’s honestly everything we wish we had known before our trip, and I’m sure you’ll thank us later ✨

The best time to visit
The best time to visit Oman is between October and April. The climate is very arid with very little rain. From May to September, temperatures can get extreme (up to 50°C in Muscat), so it’s really best to avoid this period.
We went in February: it was great, but in the mountains and at night temperatures can drop below 15°C, so don’t forget to pack some warm clothes.
🌹 Our tip: go in March–April, when the roses are harvested in Jabal Al Akhdar. We were gutted to have missed it. You can witness the distillation process to make rose water.
What budget?
The budget for a trip to Oman will mainly depend on your choice of hotels. At the very least, you can find very good hotels for around €40 per night. But many people choose to rent a 4x4 with a rooftop tent to do the road trip in camping mode! A great way to fully experience the adventure while saving money (you can literally camp anywhere in Oman, and it's totally safe). We did a mix of both, and I really recommend you do the same !
Here’s an example budget for 2 people over 14 days:
- 4x4 rental with rooftop tent (12 days): €1766
- Gas: €120
- Groceries: €60
- Hotels (€60/night – 7 nights): €420
- Activities: €316
- Restaurants: €240
- Extras: €150
➡️ Total for 2 people: ~€3,070
So, isn’t it worth spending an extra €25 to save hours of planning and travel with peace of mind 🤓 ?

We only recommend places we REALLY loved (collaboration or not!) and we also also recommend places based on all our research (best locations, value for money, ratings on google/booking) so you really don't have to do anything (well yes, just choose according to your available budget!).
Personally, I have always had to read dozens of different blogs to organize an entire trip. Most bloggers only trace what they did and you need to do more research for the rest. Our guides are designed to save you this research time, and have everything in one place, from preparing (visa, business to bring, cash, sim card...) to visualizing your complete itinerary.
In addition, if you follow me on Instagram you know that we are always looking for little-known paradisiacal places, to find ourselves alone. And it's these gems that I keep very dear for my guides, I no longer share precise locations publicly! Not to mention the exclusive discounts that I negotiate and that you won't find anywhere else.
As soon as a guide is purchased, you get all of its updates for free! They will be sent to you by email to the address provided during your purchase.
💡 tip : Keep this email with the download link carefully so you can access the latest version at any time.

Yes, we offer itineraries for all durations, especially for those who only have one or two weeks of vacation.

Hello! We are Mélanie & Stephen
A couple of nomad travelers, 29 and 35 years old, and we have been traveling the world for 5 years now! After experiencing all the difficulties possible (cancelled flights, weird accommodations, scams, bad itineraries...) we learned to organize perfect trips, without stress and without wasting time.
It all started three years ago, when sharing our trip to Egypt on Insta, we received an avalanche of questions about organization, safety or the contacts of local guides! We then decided to combine all our best reviews in an ultra-complete file, so that you can save time and leave peacefully, without stress or unpleasant surprises.
Guides created by travelers, for travelers.
Today, our guides are the result of several years of experience and continuous improvement. Thanks to the feedback of thousands of travelers, we have made them even more practical, detailed and optimized 👌
