The best time to visit
March to May is the best time to travel to the Philippines. Keep in mind that each island has its own climate, so it’s hard to get perfect weather everywhere at the same time. You’ll often read on blogs that the season already starts in December or January, but we don’t recommend it. We were there in early January and because of the strong winds, many tours were canceled and the days were less enjoyable.
February is also high season: it’s much more crowded than in March or May, and hotels are often fully booked, especially in Palawan (El Nido, Coron and the Balabac tours).
What budget?
In the Philippines, excursions and boat trips are usually the biggest part of the budget. You can find simple accommodation for a minimum of €25 per night and meals for €3/4, and nice places for 40-60€/night with pools.
Here’s an estimated 14-day budget for 2 people:
- Accommodation: €300
- Excursions: €1200 (including some nights, for example Balabac trip + El Nido-Coron cruise)
- Transport: €550
- Food & extras: €300
Total for 2 people: €2 350
So, isn’t €25 more worth it to have zero research to do and be sure you’ll get off the beaten path?

We only recommend places we REALLY loved (collaboration or not!) and we also also recommend places based on all our research (best locations, value for money, ratings on google/booking) so you really don't have to do anything (well yes, just choose according to your available budget!).
Personally, I have always had to read dozens of different blogs to organize an entire trip. Most bloggers only trace what they did and you need to do more research for the rest. Our guides are designed to save you this research time, and have everything in one place, from preparing (visa, business to bring, cash, sim card...) to visualizing your complete itinerary.
In addition, if you follow me on Instagram you know that we are always looking for little-known paradisiacal places, to find ourselves alone. And it's these gems that I keep very dear for my guides, I no longer share precise locations publicly! Not to mention the exclusive discounts that I negotiate and that you won't find anywhere else.
As soon as a guide is purchased, you get all of its updates for free! They will be sent to you by email to the address provided during your purchase.

Yes, we offer itineraries for all durations, especially for those who only have one or two weeks of vacation.

Hello! We are Mélanie & Stephen
A couple of nomad travelers, 29 and 35 years old, and we have been traveling the world for 5 years now! After experiencing all the difficulties possible (cancelled flights, weird accommodations, scams, bad itineraries...) we learned to organize perfect trips, without stress and without wasting time.
It all started three years ago, when sharing our trip to Egypt on Insta, we received an avalanche of questions about organization, safety or the contacts of local guides! We then decided to combine all our best reviews in an ultra-complete file, so that you can save time and leave peacefully, without stress or unpleasant surprises.
Guides created by travelers, for travelers.
Today, our guides are the result of several years of experience and continuous improvement. Thanks to the feedback of thousands of travelers, we have made them even more practical, detailed and optimized 👌
